Duties/Job Description
Water treatment operators treat water so that is safe to drink.
They use computerized control systems to regulate the treatment and distribution of water to cities and towns.In addition, operators read meters that measure water flow, pressure, and water levels. These readings allow operators to determine how much water is used by the community.
